Funny story. A friend of mine brought these tea cakes to my house the other day and I asked her for the recipe. She gave me an amused look and said, "this is YOUR recipe!" Ha! I knew I should've started to write my recipes down a long time ago. Luckily, she had a written down version of it and reminded me of these delightful little treats. Thank goodness for friends!
These remind me of my favorite holiday cookie when I was a child, a Russian Tea Cake. This is a raw, vegan and gluten free version without sacrificing any of the deliciousness! Enjoy!
